Many reasons to celebrate
There are many reasons to celebrate. A few days ago, I celebrated 3 years as a font maker, 2 years as an affiliate for Daebak Company and a year as a member of the Skillshare Teach Corps. This month, Emiko, a character that I created turned 4 and soon my entrepreneurship as EV Visuals will…

Time flies!
I can’t believe that we are almost halfway through January. But I’m happy how the year started and how much I created during the first weeks of January. Firstly, my new Skillshare class was published on the 6th. It’s about making transparent floral stickers. I really enjoy making transparent stickers. Check out the class here:…

Have a happy new year 2023!
It’s the last day of the year 2022! There is always that feeling of success but at the same time, that lingering inner doubt if I really succeeded this year. I always wonder if I will ever succeed in life and also trying to figure out what success really means and how success is measured.…

One Pager Travel Journals
Three years ago I was digitalising some of my one pager travel journals that I’ve created on my sketchbooks. Who would have thought that travelling would not be possible in the next two years. But somehow, I haven’t been very keen in creating more journals when I got to travel again. I’ve started a new…

Hello October!
Time flies too fast! October is here! The last day of September was spent in Amsterdam. Soon, I will create another Travel Scrapbook from it. I was also back in Van Gogh Museum after 6 years. I didn’t have the chance to visit when I was in Amsterdam in 2019. The Van Gogh Museum is…

I sold a postcard!
I sold a postcard and it made me happy! Not because I got money from it. In fact, it’s a very small amount compared to the work I’ve put into creating this postcard. But what made me happy was ‘Just think, an admirer of art in United Kingdom picked your work above millions of others.’ You can…

Scrapbooking Malta
I returned from a holiday in Malta. And as usual, I’ve gathered items to create another Travel Scrapbook. As I mentioned in my previous blog, at one point I have so many of these – boarding passes, travel tickets, museum tickets, business cards, postcards, brochures, maps, receipts… I didn’t exactly know what to do with…

Reaching another 100 students
On Saturday the 3rd of September, another class of mine, Create your own stickers on Cricut Joy and Procreate, reached a 100 students. This class was published on the 8th of July so it was nice to have such a milestone in less than 2 months. Last week, I also finally finished another cocktail illustration…

Thank You!
It was in December 2019 when I started my journey as a surface pattern designer. My designs have been printed in many different surfaces (phone cases, bags, coasters, postcards, stickers, hats, etc.) and bought by many wonderful people. I’m so grateful to all who supported my arts and my small business. In June, I was…

Japan Scrapbook
As people are heading back from their holidays, I received some questions about my travel scrapbook. So I decided to record another flip through of my Japan Scrapbook from 2018 travel with my family. As you can see, I’m using a cheap A6 clear binder. I like the A6 size as it fits well the…

Just some Kawaii snacks
I created a Kawaii cover for my small book and it was published on They Draw website too! The preparation for my new class in creating Kawaii Die Cut stickers on Cricut Joy and Procreate is also going well. I’m so excited as I also prepare to add new stickers to my shop. I really…

July – what a July!
After returning from a family trip in Canada, I was basically just preparing three classes on Skillshare. It was tough. I thought that this is it. I will never make another class again! Although, I always think such things every time I’m in the process of making a class… 🙂 So I was really happy…
