Hello there! I’m giving away another one year Skillshare membership! This works for current or new Skillshare member.
Here’s how to participate: Follow me on Skillshare, watch any of my classes, post a project and leave a review
Then contact me here if you would like to be part of the raffle draw. Every class project plus a review count as a separate entry. So the more classes you join, the more chances of winning! The winner will be picked using the Wheels of Names spinner on the 1st of August 2023.
Here is my Skillshare link and a free month of Skillshare.
EV Visuals is turning 4 years today and in celebration, I’m giving away a one year Skillshare membership. If you have an iPad with the Procreate App and a Cricut Joy and would be willing to join my classes, send me a message to see if this one year membership is for you!
Here is the link to 1 free month of Skillshare. Enjoy!
There are many reasons to celebrate. A few days ago, I celebrated 3 years as a font maker, 2 years as an affiliate for Daebak Company and a year as a member of the Skillshare Teach Corps. This month, Emiko, a character that I created turned 4 and soon my entrepreneurship as EV Visuals will be 4 too! Yes, these are just numbers but it made me thankful to have gone this far. Thanks so much for your love and support. It means a lot to me!
These past few days, I’ve been thinking of a new class on Skillshare. This will take a longer time to prepare. It will be about Travel Journaling. I’ve travelled a lot and have journaled a lot so I thought I should give it a try. I can’t wait to get this started and I have a lot of ideas for it. Some of the class clips will be filmed abroad and the example project will be a country that I’ve been looking forward to visit. So please please look forward to this class! In preparation, I’ve created this journal for today.
I hope that everything is going well for you and that 2023 is proving to be a better year than the last!
I can’t believe that we are almost halfway through January. But I’m happy how the year started and how much I created during the first weeks of January. Firstly, my new Skillshare class was published on the 6th. It’s about making transparent floral stickers. I really enjoy making transparent stickers. Check out the class here: https://skl.sh/3O50P8s
I’ve also finally archived my 2019 Travel Journal including all the paraphernalia that goes with it! So now I can continue to work on the COVID times Travel Journal and to prepare for the upcoming one.
I also started the year creating an acrylic painting. It was my first time to use a palette knife to paint. I had the wrong mixing palette so it was hard to mix the paints and to take the paint from it. It’s not great but I’m happy to have a try. 🙂
Also, my mini sketchbook project is moving forward and my journals are regularly filled. However, this week will be mostly dedicated to admin work. But that has to be done too. Please have a great week!
Hello everyone! I’m happy to announce that I’ve finally published a follow-up class on making stickers on the Cricut Joy. This time it’s about making die-cut stickers. The stickers that we will be designing will be Kawaii snacks. We will design our stickers on Procreate then send them to the Cricut Design Space to have them printed and cut on the Cricut Joy. But of course, if you don’t have a Cricut Joy yet, you can always follow this class and cut your stickers by hand. Please check out the class here: https://skl.sh/3xym9wa
While I was creating this class, I also got some cute materials from the craft store and started making these Kawaii earrings. They are nothing precious but I really find the process so relaxing. If you are following me on Skillshare, I’ll be happy to send out a pair to you when you have joined my class and left a review. I only have 10 pairs to share. So I’m just sending to 10 students. Contact me if you think you should get one. Thanks!
Have a great weekend to you and Autumn greetings from Helsinki!
Time flies too fast! October is here! The last day of September was spent in Amsterdam. Soon, I will create another Travel Scrapbook from it. I was also back in Van Gogh Museum after 6 years. I didn’t have the chance to visit when I was in Amsterdam in 2019. The Van Gogh Museum is always inspiring…
The first working day of the month is always about planning the month’s work and I also added my 2022 Journal Templates here for your inspiration as you create your 2023 templates. I hope it helps! This month will mainly focus on finishing another class for Skillshare on making die-cut stickers. There was a delay there as I was waiting for the Fall Teach Challenge which starts tomorrow. Wish me all the best!
I was so happy to wake up this morning to know that my class on Monthly Bullet Journaling which was published in March has reached a 100 students. This is an achievement for me as a new teacher on Skillshare.
This weekend I created some give-aways for my next class on Making Die Cut Kawaii Snacks Stickers on Cricut Joy and Procreate. I got some cute materials from the craft store and just started making these cute pairs of earrings. I really enjoyed the process, although, working with small objects can be challenging at times. But I’m happy with how they turned out. I just love every one of them!
Do you want me to send you a pair of Kawaii earrings? Join me in my next class!
