Creating Die-cut stickers

Creating Die-cut stickers

Hello everyone! I’m happy to announce that I’ve finally published a follow-up class on making stickers on the Cricut Joy. This time it’s about making die-cut stickers. The stickers that we will be designing will be Kawaii snacks. We will design our stickers on Procreate then send them to the Cricut Design Space to have them printed and cut on the Cricut Joy. But of course, if you don’t have a Cricut Joy yet, you can always follow this class and cut your stickers by hand. Please check out the class here: https://skl.sh/3xym9wa

While I was creating this class, I also got some cute materials from the craft store and started making these Kawaii earrings. They are nothing precious but I really find the process so relaxing. If you are following me on Skillshare, I’ll be happy to send out a pair to you when you have joined my class and left a review. I only have 10 pairs to share. So I’m just sending to 10 students. Contact me if you think you should get one. Thanks!

Have a great weekend to you and Autumn greetings from Helsinki!

Create your own stickers on Cricut Joy and Procreate

Create your own stickers on Cricut Joy and Procreate

Almost two weeks ago, I published a class on Skillshare on Creating stickers on Cricut Joy and Procreate. It was chosen as an outstanding class on Skillshare and I’m very happy to be acknowledged this way. My class has now 20 students. I’m not famous so I think it is a good number. 🙂

Please have a check of the class here. This is really a good class when you are starting out with your Cricut Joy as I explained the process step by step. See you there!

Design cutting on Cricut Joy

Design cutting on Cricut Joy

Today, I decided to stay home on this very beautiful sunny day in Helsinki and try cutting on my Cricut Joy. First,I designed a Cherry Blossom and have them cut on a Deluxe Paper. I’m happy how they turned out!

Next, I tried card making with my own lettering. This one is really fun and it gives a lot of possibilities. I’m happy with it too!

I’m really happy with my Cricut Joy. I’m excited to create more projects. The important thing I learned when using it, is to really understand why this step and that step need to be done, not just following instructions.

What projects have you created with your Cricut Joy? Let me know!

I finally bought it!

I finally bought it!

I took the plunge and finally bought a Cricut Joy! My greatest fear was my weakness in following instructions. I don’t want overly technical stuff and my brain shuts when I hear numbers. I decided to get the Cricut Joy because what if I don’t get to use it. But here I am making the most of it and I’m really enjoying it. I’m quite surprise myself! 🙂

My first try!
My second try!
And now let’s try a more complicated design!

The Cricut Joy doesn’t do print and cut. So there is a hack that I learned to go around it, realising my mistakes along the way. But getting there and happy about it. Can’t wait to finally start selling my sticker designs!

Do you have a sticker cutting machine? What do you use it for? Are you happy about it?
