Hi there! Christmas is just around the corner. On Saturday, the Christmas season was officially opened in Helsinki. At the same time, we had the first snow that day. So beautiful! Here is a photo from my window.

Today, I decided to allow free download of my December BuJo template. You can download it here. Please feel free to download it for personal use and inspiration.

The year is ending soon and it’s that time of the year to start reflecting back on the year 2022 and to plan for the next year. I’m also in the process of making another sticker class. This time it will be about making transparent floral stickers. I’m so excited. Have a great week!

Creating Die-cut stickers

Hello everyone! I’m happy to announce that I’ve finally published a follow-up class on making stickers on the Cricut Joy. This time it’s about making die-cut stickers. The stickers that we will be designing will be Kawaii snacks. We will design our stickers on Procreate then send them to the Cricut Design Space to have them printed and cut on the Cricut Joy. But of course, if you don’t have a Cricut Joy yet, you can always follow this class and cut your stickers by hand. Please check out the class here: https://skl.sh/3xym9wa

While I was creating this class, I also got some cute materials from the craft store and started making these Kawaii earrings. They are nothing precious but I really find the process so relaxing. Time flies too fast! October is here! The last day of September was spent in Amsterdam. Soon, I will create another Travel Scrapbook from it. I was also back in Van Gogh Museum after 6 years. I didn’t have the chance to visit when I was in Amsterdam in 2019. The Van Gogh Museum is always inspiring…

The first working day of the month is always about planning the month’s work and I also added my 2022 Journal Templates here for your inspiration as you create your 2023 templates. I hope it helps! This month will mainly focus on finishing another class for Skillshare on making die-cut stickers. There was a delay there as I was waiting for the Fall Teach Challenge which starts tomorrow. I sold a postcard!

I sold a postcard and it made me happy! Not because I got money from it. In fact, it’s a very small amount compared to the work I’ve put into creating this postcard. But what made me happy was ‘Just think, an admirer of art in United Kingdom picked your work above millions of others.’

Scrapbooking Malta

I returned from a holiday in Malta. And as usual, I’ve gathered items to create another Travel Scrapbook.

As I mentioned in my previous blog, at one point I have so many of these – boarding passes, travel tickets, museum tickets, business cards, postcards, brochures, maps, receipts… I didn’t exactly know what to do with them that I started to throw them away until I thought that why not try scrapbooking.

The process of scrapbooking has been so fun for me. Venice was the first scrapbook that I immediately created as soon as I returned from my holiday. I would really love to be able to put the scrapbook together right away and to cherish the memories in one place. In the past, I had all the items scattered everywhere for a long time which made scrapbooking less enjoyable. As I look at the items I’ve collected during the trip, I can already picture in my head how I will be creating my Malta Scrapbook and I’m really excited how this will turn out. I guess I’m getting better at this each time. 🙂

Reaching another 100 students

On Saturday the 3rd of September, another class of mine, Create your own stickers on Cricut Joy and Procreate, reached a 100 students. This class was published on the 8th of July so it was nice to have such a milestone in less than 2 months.

This week, I’ll be finishing up a font set for a client and will be on holiday next week. Autumn is also almost here in Helsinki. Have a great week to you all and Happy September!

Class Give-aways

I was so happy to wake up this morning to know that my class on Monthly Bullet Journaling which was published in March has reached a 100 students. This is an achievement for me as a new teacher on Skillshare.

This weekend I created some give-aways for my next class on Making Die Cut Kawaii Snacks Stickers on Cricut Joy and Procreate. I got some cute materials from the craft store and just started making these cute pairs of earrings. I really enjoyed the process, although, working with small objects can be challenging at times. But I’m happy with how they turned out. I just love every one of them!
